Air Atlanta Icelandic holds an Icelandic AOC (Air Operator Certificate) issued by the Icelandic Transport Authority fulfilling the requirements of EU OPS and PART M and EU Regulation no. 2407/92. The Company further holds Air Operator approvals from the US Department of Transport, Canadian Transportation Agency and Australian Government. The Company became IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) qualified in 2011. The IOSA program is an internationally recognized and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline.
Since our first takeoff in 1986 we have steadily climbed to become a leading ACMI provider and a global partner for cargo and charter flights. We have operated to every habitable continent of the world, and our international workforce has vast experience in setting up global operational bases on short notice anywhere in the world. We flew to 117 airports and 51 countries in 2016, and we are always responsive and ready to fly in any formation, anywhere, anytime.
